What is a SUPA Club?

SUPA Clubs (Scripture Union Primary Age) are Christian clubs for kids operating in primary schools throughout Australia. SUPA Clubs can be run as a breakfast, recess, lunch or after school program. It is an exciting time with fun games, interesting craft, singing, drama, stimulating stories from the Bible, and the occasional treat. SUPA Clubs give children an opportunity to investigate some of life’s challenging questions.

SUPA Clubs operate in schools with the permission of the principal and they are staffed by volunteers from the local community and churches. Children must have permission from a parent or guardian to attend a SUPA Club.

What is the purpose of SUPA Club?

  • To provide a friendly, fun and stimulating club atmosphere in which kids build meaningful relationships.
  • For kids to have the opportunity to hear about Jesus and the Christian story, and to investigate life’s questions.
  • To provide opportunities for kids to learn to help and care for each other, develop leadership and team skills, and serve each other and the school community.

Who can attend a SUPA Club?

All primary aged children are welcome to attend a SUPA Club in their school!

We would love to welcome and care for every child, so please do not hesitate to get in touch if your child has access requirements that are not yet being met. We care deeply about the inclusion of all children and would love to work with you to make each SUPA Club accessible, safe and fun for all.

Before a child can attend, they must have a signed permission slip from their parents/carers. To register your child/ren, please click HERE

Who are the leaders?

The leaders are members of local churches who believe that everyone should have the opportunity to investigate Christianity for themselves.

Scripture Union ACT oversees the running of the clubs. All volunteers are required to complete a thorough screening process, which includes a police check and ChildSafe training, before they start helping at a SUPA Club.

Clubs are currently running in the following schools:

Calwell Primary School
Charnwood-Dunlop School
Giralang Primary School
Monash Primary School
Ngunnawal Primary School
Palmerston Primary School
