What is a SUPA Club?

Scripture Union Primary Age (SUPA) Clubs are Christian clubs for kids in primary schools throughout Australia. They can be run as breakfast, recess, lunch, or after-school programs. SUPA Clubs help children discover life in God’s big story through fun games, interesting crafts, singing, drama, stimulating stories from the Bible, and the occasional treat.

SUPA clubs provide a friendly, fun, stimulating club atmosphere where kids can connect with God, each other, and the community. The activities are designed so kids can build meaningful relationships with leaders and each other as they learn about Jesus and the Christian story and investigate life’s questions. The clubs also aim to provide opportunities for kids to learn to help and care for each other, develop leadership and team skills, and serve each other and the school community.

SUPA Clubs operate in schools with the permission of the principal and they are staffed by volunteers from the local community and churches.

Who can attend a SUPA Club?

All primary-aged children are welcome to attend a SUPA Club at their school when they have a signed permission slip from their parents/carers! Sign your child’s permission form here.

We care deeply about including all children and would love to work with you to make each SUPA Club accessible, safe and fun for all.

Who are the leaders?

The leaders are SU Australia volunteers and members of local churches who believe that everyone should have the opportunity to investigate Christianity for themselves.

All volunteers are required to complete a thorough screening process, which includes obtaining a WWVP, reference checks, and ChildSafe training before they start helping at a SUPA Club.

We are always looking for ways to work alongside churches and communities to give children, young people, and their families opportunities to discover hope, life, and purpose in being part of God’s big story. Request a club or join our movement today!
